While I am Still Wise..

Standard

Yes, I still have my wisdom.. Until Monday, that is. The long-awaited removal of the wisdom teeth has come at last and I will be having them removed on Monday! Prayer and ice cream would be much appreciated!

This past week has been eventful as well as relaxing. The heat of summer is in full swing, but summer itself is winding down. As I ready myself for the start of my last fall semester as an undergrad, i am reminded of how much things change. One year ago we had just gotten back from Korea, were both in college, and were planning our wedding! Now, after spending a very hot summer in Waco, we are adjusting to life as married adults (and parents of the ever growing Birdie)!

This past week served as our budget setting week. It overwhelmed me at first thinking about having to spend only certain amounts on groceries and food and needing to cook a bit more often. But after trying it out, and spending a dollar less than our budget for the week, I am excited about this new responsibility!

On Sunday, we got to lead music with a very talented couple in our married small group which was such a blessing and learning opportunity for me! It was also a lot of fun to sing and work out harmonies with another girl voice, something I had never done before. I am so excited to see Elliot grow in leading the music ministry at church this year and I am so excited to see God working through it!
