Its Fall Y’all

Fall in Kentucky is absolutely gorgeous! We got to experience fall growing up in Oklahoma, but the past 6 years spent in Waco really didn’t give us four seasons. Our first fall here has been so special and I will treasure it for a long time. The beauty that God revealed through the incredible foliage and the sweet, cherished time spent with my husband have been so dear to my heart.

Even though our time here has been the busiest of our lives, we feel so blessed by the way that God is growing us for his glory.

This morning at church, we talked about the adulterous woman brought to Jesus to be stoned and instead, walked away with forgiveness. While going through the book of John with our church, I have been reflecting a lot on the character of Jesus. How incredible it will be to meet him someday. His love, gracious heart and perfect life are so different from my own, yet I am encouraged and called to strive to be more like him every day.

Thank you Lord, for the cross and for reminding us in the beauty and quiet moments of fall just how good you really are.
