Hi there, I’m sorry for the delay in updating my followers on my seventh month of life. I’ve just been so busy growing and observing the world around me!

7 months (1 of 1)-7

My seventh month of life was a fun one. Mom and Dad left me at home with a babysitter for the first time so that they could have a date. They soon realized that I may have a slight case of what people call “stranger danger,” as I proceeded to cry for an hour after they left. Poor, sad me.. They have not left my side since so it seems my plan is working. You say Moms and Dads need date nights? My guess is that they will try again soon!

In other developments, Mom and Dad think that I am a genius because I can now sit up all by myself! This has opened a new world to me as I am able to sit and play all on my own. My toys have been really interesting to me lately and I love seeing the world from this new perspective (even if I do fall over sometimes..)!

Mom has gone a bit easy on the food this month. Something about baby-led weaning and me not really liking food that much? I don’t know about her sometimes.. I have enjoyed my purees just fine! She still gives me applesauce and the occasional banana or sweet potato puree but for the most part I have just been really thirsty this month! I did get to try my hand at chewing on some celery which was weird but fun. I’m excited to try more!

My Uncle and Auntie visited this month and boy, did we have fun! I didn’t take a nap in my crib the entire weekend but I was so happy to be with them that it was no biggie. I hope they come back soon! I will have more tricks to show off next time! Photo cred goes to Hannah Jones Photography for these rockin family pics!

I’m still wearing my 6-9 and 6-12 month clothes and love when Daddy plays piano or guitar. I am becoming more and more attached to my parents and continue to enjoy being the center of attention whenever possible. Life is sweet!
